Rewards of Hajj
Pilgrimage The fifth pillar of Islam is not just a religious
duty, but it is also a rewarding journey for any Muslim who has done all his
rights properly. One of these rewards is that God will erase all our previous
sins that will ultimately pave our way to paradise in eternal life. You can
find out more about the rewards of Hajj from the following hadiths where our
beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"Whoever comes to this house (with the intention to perform the Hajj) as
on the day his mother was born.”(Muslim, 2/3129)

Another hadith reveals that "from one to the next to
another, it is expiation for what is between them and the pilgrim, a
justification for which there is no reward except Paradise" (Bukhari and
Muslim). This means that the eternal reward of the main pilgrimage is only
paradise. Where we will experience a life full of happiness, prosperity and
peace. The Qur'an says, "But those who believe and do the deeds of
righteousness will soon recognize them to the gardens, where the rivers flow
beneath them, to dwell therein forever." The promise of God is truth, and
his word can be truer than God? (Quran 4:12)
These are not all our prayers are also acceptable as a
reward for performing Hajj properly. Hajj is the best time to seek forgiveness
from God, because it responds to our prayers. As mentioned in the following
hadeeth, Abu Hurayrah (ie radhiallahu anhu) relates that the Prophet (peace and
blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Those who perform Hajj and perform
Umrah are people who came to visit God. Forgive them. “(Tirmidhi 2536 and Ibn
Majah)
Since God listens and responds to the prayers of the
pilgrims, so is the best time to seek His blessings in this world and life
after Him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I
heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)
say:" Oh God, make us a blessing in this world and a blessing in the next.
And our protection from the torment of hell "(Abu Dawood 1887)
In addition to the eternal benefits, pilgrim can justify
pilgrims to enjoy great rewards in the world as well. Economic wealth is one of
these mundane benefits. In his last book, God says, "There is no crime in
you if you look for the glory of your Lord (during the Hajj)." Then when
you spilled out of Arafat's mountain, he celebrated the praise of God in the
Holy Grail and celebrated his praise as He brought you out, even before you
went, 2: 198)
Above all, performing Hajj increases your faith and at the
same time improves your physical fitness, because the sacred journey requires a
lot of walking and running. Therefore, you have to take care of yourself if you
really want to complete this journey. The best way to do this is by exercising
regularly and eating good food.
